More news from nowhere.

I am back now, it's been a week. My soul appears none the wiser. One man threw my heart down, then stepped on it as he walked by, the other showed me great kindness. I don't know. I can never trust Jules again, and I hope to give my heart to Jim, but just not as it is now, somewhat wounded. I am projecting onto Jim, the fears installed in me by Jules latest actions. Not fair on Jim. Jim is amazing, a man worth crossing worlds for, a hero of a man.

I need to take a step back, reflect on my heart and soul, spend time with myself and achieve the dreams I can achieve alone, knowing that the love, well it will follow suit, it will sort itself out. I believe that. I will detach completely from Jules; I will give Jim the space to come to find me if that is what he wants; I will continue on the path that I have chosen and someone's love will come to me, as a seed does to the earth, and that love will grow its course.

Mon Jules Vernes, by Beatrice Bailey

                                                       (Un poème pour Alex Petitpierre - 1999)

          Mon pote, t’es toujours la
Et tu m'donnes la mot

Ton sourrire me rechauffe
Ton esprit m’illumine:
Avec toi j’me sens jamais nulle
Tu seras toujours,
Mon seul et meilleur ami.

Cloths of Heaven, William Butler Yeats

Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,

Enwrought with golden and silver light,

The blue and the dim and the dark cloths

Of night and light and the half-light,

I would spread the cloths under your feet:

But I, being poor, have only my dreams;

I have spread my dreams under your feet;

Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
